The Norway Woods Bar
I dont really see myself rushing off to Norway Woods of an evening, but should try some time. Charlie of G+ / Wahaha fame is running the place now, and so I am sure it is a pretty slick operation. But perhaps Norway Woods is just as suited for a cheeky afternoon, early evening drink.

Pool in Hangzhou
There is something to be said for those street side crappy pool tables you occasionally see outside a small shop on the edge of Hangzhou. The beer is cheap, the tables are nearly free, and the worn out rubber, cracked slate (warped wood) and disfigured balls (gulp) means that seriously handicapped pool players like myself can compete a little with the pros. A little.

Eudora Station
Chatting about Eudora Station, the restaurant’s owner wanted to know if it was a good thing that many were saying that Eudora is the “new Paradise Rock”. I am sure nobody much likes to be compared with somebody or something else, especially when you don’t know the other, but I told Thomas that it was probably a good thing.

Cheap beers, as well as not-so-cheap imported bottled beer, an across the board half-price Happy Hour from opening, 5.30 or so, to 8.30 means that you’ll be there after work for a couple and before long will have forgotten your dinner, forgotten the time, and how to get home.
