Snack at Shanghai South

If you don’t have an hour to kill at Shanghai South, you would probably never get to find Bricco. Once you know where it is, killing 30 minutes becomes almost a pleasure. Bricco is a deli, almost. Not quite what you find on Sloane Street, but nevertheless, cold beer, pizza slices, tasty sandwiches with good bread, pasta made in front of you. And depending on who is around, you can smoke too. I couldn’t get the wifi to work, and was blamed for using a silly computer (iPhone) – but daresay it does work for those of you with clever computers.
You cant really see the place as you go in the main entrances of departures. So trust me, look for the big section number signs on the huge columns holding up that amazing roof, and follow around the departures ring until you get to 14. It’s up the stairs behind you.
Bricco Cafe, Shanghai South Railway Station, departures ring section 14.
